Abbreviation aficionado and ABA president Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III will be received on Monday, December 19 at 4:30 at DLA Piper's downtown offices. The event is co-hosted by the Federal Bar Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego and La Raza Lawyers of San Diego and is in commemoration of the ABA Immigration Justice Project.
Hurry and register to Veronica Barba at the email to the right as space is limited.
Mr. Robinson abbreviates his name in almost every reference I have ever seen, in the ABA Journal, on the ABA Web site and in the invitation for this event. I'm now beginning to wonder if his name is pronounced "wim" and not William. Or, Mr. Robinson has met his L, I and A quotas for his lifetime, especially considering he uses three "I"s in his "III" suffix. I wonder if he uses Roman numerals when he writes his age. I wonder if he refers himself in the third person, an illeist, like Rickey Henderson.
Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson III is a man of true intrigue. We welcome him to San Diego for a worthy cause!
